Author’s note
Dear Reader,
Before you dive into the wild and twisting journey of The Vallyn Duet, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the darker waters we’re about to tread together. This duet explores themes that may not be for everyone, and your comfort and mental well-being are incredibly important to me.
Inside these pages, you’ll encounter on-page smoking, drinking, motor vehicle accidents, abduction, captivity, Stockholm syndrome, gun and knife violence, hand-to-hand combat, death, murder, torture, blood, PTSD, exposure therapy, stalking—including hidden cameras and cyberstalking, and attempted sexual assault. You will also encounter graphic non-consensual sexual acts, bondage, and drugging.
If any of these topics feel heavy for you right now, please take care of yourself first.
Remember, this is your journey as much as it is mine. Your mental health matters, always.
Stay Naughty ♥ Mae
